Guest Post: The Ultimate Guide to Traveling With Chronic Pain

Hello lovely readers,

I have a great article to share with you sent by a representative with Million Mile Secrets all about traveling with chronic pain.

Now if you are like me- I love to travel, but it has gotten harder with an autoimmune disorder.

According to the CDC, 50 million Americans suffer from chronic pain, and about 20 million of them have pain severe enough that frequently can limit daily physical activities.

That is a lot of people affected and I can only imagine how the stresses of travel can impact this. Their article offers insight on what to pack, finding lodging at your destination, they include tips on how to travel comfortably with chronic pain by car, train, plane, and even boat. Their guide also includes a list of wheelchair and accessibility information for the top 15 airports in the U.S.

It is an extensive article that can open so many doors for people with a variety of options we may have not even known existed! There are so many times when I look back to when I first got sick that I wished I had been more informed and taken advantage of the opportunities available to me. Disney may have been a lot easier for me if I had done that.

So take a read over at their website: The Ultimate Guide to Travelling with Chronic Pain

Let me know what you think!
